BMW just showed the new M3 and M4!

No big surprises, the M4 looks exactly like the Concept car. Really like the colors though, I am glad BMW brought back the yellow. The power is impressive, 430hp from a straight six turbo, 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. Now let's wait for the big FP article.

The M4 Coupe just demolishes the M3 Sedan in looks. The taller roof and number of pillars on the windows kills it.

Strange, I liked the M3 better. With the E90/E92 M3 it was the other way round, although to be fair the E90 M3 Sedan looked like an awkward backyard tuner build.

For this generation the M3 Sedan just seems to have the nicer ass. But maybe it is just the color and perspective, I will give my final judgment after I have seen both live.

The blue seems to be masking some of the folds, such as that first lip near the bottom of the door.

The "Awkward backyard tuner build" refered to the E90 M3 Sedan. It really looks strange because of the E92 Coupe face they gave it.

Hmm, I just think that they missed an opportunity with the E90 Sedan. They always had that Touring car look for me, so an M treatment could have been awesome.

Strangley I find the E92 front very appealing if it is put on a E90 Touring.

Ugh. The early E90s were the worst, with the top of the kidneys on the hood.

I agree about the Touring, though. I'd love to have to the scratch to build an E91 M3!

Hmm, now that you mentioned it I also see the awfulness of the early E90 kidneys. Reminds me of toddlers teeth.

That E91 M3 Wagon is pure awesomeness, thanks a lot for the link. Color and wheels are spot on. I would say right now this is my 2nd favourite after the facelifted WTCC version.
